Jason Hales Music Studio

Jason Hales, has been involved in the Canadian music scene throughout his life. He is a trained operatic lyric tenor having studied at the University of Toronto Opera Program and has received his Honours Bachelor of Music from Lakehead University. 

You can find him performing as a soloist with various choirs and orchestras in the GTHA.  (Greater Toronto and Hamilton Areas)  Jason also enjoys performing light rock on guitar for private parties, corporate functions, and with various groups in the GTHA.  

While vocally classically trained, he performs all styles of music from opera to country, folk to rock. He has performed in a variety of staged music productions, solo and choral concerts, and private events. Jason teaches singing, guitar, ukulele and piano. 

He maintains a full teaching studio where he enjoys helping students grow in the love and discovery of music.  All his students are encouraged to take part in any opportunity to perform.  He believes the love of music and the instrument has to come first and the desire to perform will come from that.

Jason is also a big supporter of local talent.  He believes local talent deserves a moment in the spotlight and not just in the background of a restaurant or bar.
