Ukulele has grown in popularity over the last decade and remains popular now.  It is a very accessible string instrument for just about anyone.  It also provides an easier transition into playing guitar.  Most people like to play ukulele to back themselves up singing songs but it can also be used to play melodies and learn finger picking.

Students will start out with chord shapes and strumming to various songs.  Starting ages 7 and up.  The student must have enough dexterity to press down on strings and form chord shapes.
